With Apple's fairly newly announced iPhone 5S just around the corner it begs the question among my friends, will JT upgrade his iPhone 5? The answer isn't as clear as it may seem to be... If I do upgrade then I ink it'll be to an unlocked version so I can not worry about being in other countries and whether I'll be able to use my data plan or not. Now, I have discovered that I can unlock my existing iPhone 5 for $50 via Rogers, which is nice.
Either way I choose to go ill be unlocking my current phone but I do like some of the newer features of the 5S; specifically the longer battery life and the finger print scanner. Now I know it sounds extravagant but the truth of the matter is that I have a pretty complex password for my iTunes account and its a pain in the ass to type in all the time on an iDevice keyboard.
Am I excited about any of the other features? Sure, but those two are the current big ones for now. The significantly better processor, the M7 coprocessor and the 64-bit architecture are bonuses as well. Will I upgrade though? Who knows... Probably.
