I guess it's time for another update from the high seas - we've now been in the Caribbean for a couple of weeks and its been going fairly smoothly. It's nice to be a little busy; the time certainly passes faster. We've also had a large scale guest entertainer group onboard: recycled percussion, out of Las Vegas has been sailing with us for a five week limited engagement. To give you an idea of what the show is like it opens with the guys sitting horizontally on a 3,000 pound wall flown in the air which then inverts with them strapped to it.
Needless to say we all feel a little better when that wall is on the ground. The act goes over pretty well though, in my observation it's a very polarizing act in the sense that I didn't run into anyone that thought "ah, it was ok...". Everyone I spoke to seemed to be either very much in favour or against the concept.
They will be on our ship again next week and then they'll be done with their run on our ship just in time for us to get going for the holiday season. I'm sure the holidays will be busy but I'm looking forward to the New Year cruise if for no other reason then I have friends sailing who I have not seen in a while. Alright, that's all the news that's new and improved for now.
