It's almost that time again, in nine days I'll be leaving for my next ship which will be the Eurodam for two weeks to work with the ship to make an upcoming charter a success. It'll be my first time dealing with this particular charter (the malt shop cruise) but the producers are people I am familiar with and enjoy working with so I'm sure it'll be a hit.
After those two weeks I'll be headed from Fort Lauderdale to Puerto Vallarta to meet the Westerdam where I'll be taking over until the end of February which leaves me to enjoy the holidays in the Caribbean which ought to be a lot of fun. Particularly, I'm looking forward to meeting up with a good friend who now lives in Grand Cayman and if all goes well the third member of our triumvirate will be flying down to visit as well.
The new year, as I alluded to earlier, will bring some more charters with the same producers as the malt shop cruise. We'll have a couple of smooth jazz cruises, a straight ahead jazz cruise, there'll be an Irish music charter in there and then just before I leave we have a soul train cruise. It'll be a whirlwind but it'll be fun!
Before I jet for those contracts though, I've got a meet up in Toronto this weekend which I'm looking forward to. I'll leave Sunday and stay through Tuesday; the big attraction other than seeing friends is a Ben Folds Five concert on Monday night. Incidentally, if any of my Toronto friends are reading this and want to meet up let me know!
